About MeI began my photography journey in 1999, the way many people do…with the birth of my daughter. I had dabbled prior to that, but really dove into portrait photography once she came along. Sydney, and later her brother Tyler, were my muses, always posing to allow me to experiment with different lighting and background set-ups. Portraits were my main focus for several years and while I still do some portrait work (seniors, headshots, etc.), my main focus these days is nature. After moving around for many years while my husband served in the Air Force, we retired from active duty military life and settled in Colorado in 2014. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with nature and landscape photography. Being in the mountains and out in nature with my camera brings me a great deal of peace and happiness.
